摘要：
the present study aims to analyze the violence suffered by LGBT activists who live in Belem, State of Para. For this purpose, it was realized semi-structured interviews with five people who identified themselves as LGBT activists who live in Belem. In the end, it was concluded that LGBT activism is permeated by a complex and multidimensional violence, which affects the individual at social, interpersonal and intra-individual levels.
