Design and experimental investigation of a single-switch three-phase flyback-derived power factor corrector

摘要
This paper presents the design, practical realization and experimental analysis of a 500W three-phase single-switch AC/DC flyback converter system with high quality input current waveforms, By means of the known topology and a known set of formulas the dimensioning the power circuit is presented in detail and the loss contributions of the system power components is shown in graphical form. The experimental analysis shows the stationary behavior and the dynamics of the control and verifies the dimensioning as well as the expected efficiency of 86.8% and rated load and clearly a high system power factor of lambda = 0.999. Finally, the power density and the power weight is discussed and a novel two-switch topology for applications at significantly higher input voltages is presented.
