摘要
Aim. The paper aims to identify the main directions of using artificial intelligence (AI) in sports and the key legal problems that arise in connection with such a usage. Materials and methods. A number of legal research methods were used, including the technical and legal method. This method allows analyzing the possibilities of regulating individual AI-related processes, as well as the limits of such a regulation within the framework of sports-related legal relations. The method of legal modeling allows creating key models for regulating the use of artificial intelligence in a particular sports field. The comparative method, the method of system analysis, analysis and synthesis were also used. Results. The article classifies the main directions of using artificial intelligence in sports, as well as the legal problems associated with its usage. Special attention is paid to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in sports. Conclusion. Modern lawmakers should separately regulate a number of aspects associated with the use of artificial intelligence in sports. Modern sports federations should regulate the multipurpose use of digital technologies by means of local acts and separately regulate the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
