摘要
Using high-energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction with a photon energy of 100 keV we have made in-situ studies of the solid state transformation and texture development of the Bi-2212 and Bi-2223 phases inside the silver-clad tape during annealing. We find that the texture improvement takes place almost ex elusively for Bi-2212, and that it is independent of the phase transformation. We also observe that the phase transformation from Bi-2212 to Bi-2223 runs faster for the multifilamentary tapes than for the monofilamentary tapes.
