Effect of cresoquine on biosynthesis of citric acid in Aspergillus niger

摘要
The effect of cresoquine, a derivative of arylcarboxylic acid belonging to the group Of ammonium salts of phenylacetic acids, on the biosynthesis of citric acid in the culture of Aspergillus niger strain V-B-945 [2] was studied. Addition of cresoquine to the nutrient media at a concentration of 1.0 x 10(-8) to 1.0 x 10(-3) was demonstrated experimentally to increase the yield or citric acid by 10-15%. The optimal ratio of the mass of inoculation culture and cresoquine content in the medium was determined.
