摘要：
The test bench to study sealing elements made of elastomers is designed and manufactured. The relationships of their geometric parameters vs. axial load and probable reasons for jamming of sealing devices under packing in wells are established. The solutions to improve performance of sealants (packers) are worked out and proposed.
