摘要
Absorption process is the most used separation technology for CO2 removal. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of different carbon dioxide gas pressure towards solubility, density and pH of CO2 ((g)) + H2O(1) mixtures. The absorption process was investigated in a semi-batch reactor equipped with arduino monitoring system. The results indicated that the solubility and density of CO2 in water increased with increasing of CO2 gas pressure. The highest solubility of CO2 in water was 1.320 gr/L. On the other hand, the pH values of CO2 in water decreased with increasing of CO2 gas pressure. (C) 2022 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
