A New Method to Design Ceramic Filters with Finite Transmission Zeros

摘要
we present a new method to produce finite transmission zeros (FTZs) for ceramic filters. For every resonator, one FTZ can be produced by adding one or more capacitors in the circuit. The FTZ can be placed at a desired frequency below or above the passband. This method also offers the most efficient way in producing finite FTZs. The maximum number of FTZs that can be produced is equal to the number of poles of the filter.
