摘要
Due to the depleting resources of petro fuels and the emission of hazardous gases, alternative fuels have found a prominent place in the recent times. The thermal barrier coating has a property in heat resistance. In the present study, Stellite 6 material is mostly used for coating the inlet and the exhaust valves of a single cylinder four stroke DI diesel engine. The waste fish fry oil was transesterified and neat biodiesel was prepared. Two test fuels were prepared by blending the diesel with biodiesel. Here DI diesel engine is used for testing the test fuel for the analysis of performance and emission characteristics. (c) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
