Some remarks on structural relations between the tan method and the finite element method

摘要：
We discuss structural relations between the Tau Method and the Finite Element Method (discrete step h). For a Dirichlet problem in dimensions one and two, we show that the difference between the solution given by each of these methods is bounded by Ch in the norm of the Sobolev space H-0(1) (Omega).
