摘要
Parametric finite element studies of a 15m wide 10m deep excavation supported by a nail system are presented. The purpose of the paper is to investigate the most important factors influencing a soil nailing excavation performed in stages. The key features of a soil nailing system - soil removal, nail placement and face wall installation - have been duely incorporated in the numerical analyses.
