Research on the Supply and Demand Status of High-Tech Industry Talent

This paper introduces the supply and demand status of High-Tech Industry Talent (HTIT) in China. We use the Demand/Supply Ratio (DSR), the ratio of number of demanded people to number of jot seekers. as a measurable indicator of the supply-demand imbalance in HTIT market, analyze this DSR and its trend with X12 seasonal adjustment and HP filtering method, and apply OLS to forecast this trend. Study results show that there is an imbalance between supply and demand of HTIT, furthermore this imbalance will continue. Finally, we can find the reasons for this imbalance and put forward some policies and recommendations to solve this issue.
