摘要
The preparation and application of a kind of copolymer of acrylic acid, acrylamide (AM), cationic monomer and some organosilicon compounds, a multifunctional papermaking chemical aid, were studied in this paper. Organosilicon was used to improve performance of acrylamide. The copolymer had some special applications owing to its excellent performkances. When the mass ratio of CPAM to D-4 was 1:5, the optimum condition of the grafting reaction was that the dosage of the A-171 was 3g, MM was 0.3g, DMSO was 0.5g, KOH was 0.22g, the time was 3h and the activation temperature was 80 degrees C. The graft copolymer of polyacrylaminde with organosilicon in optimum conditions resulted in the increase of breaking length, tear index, burst index and folding endurance of handsheets by 24.8%, 9.8%, 23.2% and 133%, respectively, compared with the control sample. The IR spectrum of the graft copolymer presented the -Si-Si- special absorbing peak at 763.05 cm(-1) and the -Si-C- special absorbing peak at 616.71 cm(-1), which were formed by the reaction product of carbonyl group of CPAM and D-4. It was verified that the grafting copolymer was the copolymer of CPAM and D-4.
