摘要
The development of a database and sample collection gave us an tool for antenatal research. To identify partners interested in exploiting and developing our database. Material and methods: A software of structured documentation in the area of clinical antenatal medicine was adapted to store data related to the collected samples. There were long distance tests made for multicentric access within a Private Virtual Network (VPN). Data from over 12000 pregnant women and neonates and over 8500 biological samples (sera, placenta fragments, amniotic liquid) has been stored in the system. Authors describe main results in optimizing the system and its use to support research in the field of spontaneous preterm birth and abortion, pregnancy associated diseases and epidemiology. The research platform that has been developed is the first one in our country and offers support for developing integrated research. Multicentric and interdisciplinary use of this platform allows rapid data collection and analysis.
