Application of indium reagents in organic synthesis

This paper reviews some application of indium reagents in organic synthesis, including In - mediated promoted Barbier - type reaction, In - Reformatsky reaction, cyclization, reactions catalyzed by indium trichlride and In - mediated reactions in aquous media. These reactions can take place under mild conditions, in high yields, and with good chemo - and stereo - selectivity. Application of indium reagents has emerged as a useful tool in organic synthesis in recent years.
