Sinc numerical solution for the Volterra integro-differential equation

摘要
in this paper, numerical solution of Volterra integro-differential equation by means of the Sinc collocation method is considered. Convergence analysis is given, it is shown that the Sinc solution produces an error of order O(e(-k root N)) where k > 0 is a constant. This approximation reduces the Volterra integro-differential equation to an explicit system of algebraic equations The method is applied to a few test examples to illustrate the accuracy and the implementation of the method.
