A Design of Three-Dimensional Frequency Selective Metamaterial with Staggered Wire Frames

摘要
Based on the principle of surface wave transmission, this paper proposes a 3D Frequency Selective Metamaterials with staggered wire frames. The designed and optimized frequency selective metamaterials are composed of staggered rectangular metal frame loops, which have the characteristics of miniaturized symmetric structure. After modeling analysis and parameter scanning optimization, the structural parameters are determined. The research result shows that for TE/TM waves, this structure has the characteristics of wide passband bandwidth, high wave transmission in the passband and high cut-off outside the band.
