TRANSNATIONAL DISPLACEMENT WITHIN THE EU: VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR THIRD-COUNTRY NATIONALS

The present article tries to analyze the requirements in foreign matters of non-community workers belonging to companies located within the European Union temporarily displaced to other member countries in the framework of the provision of transnational services. In this sense, in accordance with European regulations on the freedom to provide services, companies based in one of the EU Member States may send citizens of third countries to another EU Member State for the temporary provision of a service, without requiring a work permit or other permit related to a professional activity. However, this does not prevent the corresponding visa from the host Member State to be requested, for stays of more than three months.
