摘要：
It is known that a unital separable simple C*-algebra A with tracial rank zero has stable rank one and real rank zero. In this note, we use the generalized inductive limits to construct a non-simple C*-algebra E-infinity. Then we show that the tracial rank of E-infinity is zero, but the stable rank of E-infinity is not one and the real rank of E-infinity is not zero.
