Association of diabetes mellitus with abnormal heart rate recovery in patients without known coronary artery disease

摘要：
We analyzed 1,818 consecutive healthy adults, including 51 diabetics who underwent exercise stress testing. We showed that increasing blood sugar levels are associated with attenuation of heart rate recovery in an otherwise healthy population.
