摘要
Oxidation-resistant ultra-fine Fe-Co particles were produced by reduction of silica-coated Co-ferrite with hydrogen gas in a horizontal tube furnace at 550 degrees C for 7 h. The mean particle size of the Fe-Co particles was 13 nm and the specific magnetization of the particles was 162 emu/g. In addition, a surfactant coating thickness greater than 11.8 nm was formed after triple coatings of the surface active agents oleic acid, silicone oil and polyvinylpyrrolidone on the surface of the Fe-Co particles to promote dispersion stability. A dispersion with an efficiency of up to 94 % was achieved.
