The challenges in the implementation of higher education courses in distance education in Brazil

摘要
The research focused the distance learning school management focusing on the general overview stages of the implementation of the courses in this teaching modality. We verified how it is done and what can be changed in a functional way, through bibliographic research and comparison with the current system employed. Based on the observations collected as well as the author's experience in the EAD teaching, together with the opinion of the other integrating categories, according to the teaching modality, data were collected aiming at the possibility of improving in a practical way and at the lowest cost the procedure for implementing other EAD courses, with a view to include other social classes as distance learning students. Educational management in the EAD modality must be democratic, otherwise it will not be effective and alternative to reach the majority of the public in terms of affordable tuition and ease of access to technology as an alternative to reach the majority of the public regarding affordable monthly fees and ease of access to technology.
