摘要
Distributed photovoltaic(PV) system can effectively solve the mismatch problem that happened in a centralized photovoltaic system. The distributed PV system has high efficiency but a high cost. To reduce the cost, a no communication control strategy is presented in this paper where converters operate based on local information. Converters will start without communication when enough PV panels get illumination. The key is to control the output voltage within the upper and lower thresholds. These thresholds are critical and how to design is also included in this paper. Experimental results for a prototype are presented to demonstrate the usefulness and reliability of the proposed control strategy.
