摘要：
Soft vibrational modes in finite quantum systems are compared with macroscopic phase transitions. I argue that in soft nuclei the quartic anharmonicity dominates the dynamics, sketch the microscopic derivation of the collective Hamiltonian and illustrate by a simple model.
