摘要
This paper presents a brief overview of applications of the method of topology optimization to the design of vibrating, linearly elastic continuum structures with negligible material damping. The design objectives include maximization of specific eigenfrequencies and distances (gaps) between two consecutive eigenfrequencies of free structural vibrations, as well as maximization of the dynamic stiffness and minimization of the sound power radiation from structures subjected to forced harmonic vibrations. Results show that these design objectives enable us, in a very cost-efficient way, to move structural resonance frequencies far away from external excitation frequencies, thereby avoiding high vibration and noise levels.
