Design of Metasurface Loaded in Multilayer Dielectric Plate to Reduce Reflection over Wide Incident Angle

Metasurfaces using Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) are loaded between the dielectric plates to reduce reflection from the multilayer dielectric plate. We propose a design method to obtain the required characteristic for FSSs by numerically calculating the reflection characteristics of the whole structure in this work. FSS was designed to reduce reflection over wide incident angle by loading FSS in multilayer dielectric plate. Reflection loss of multilayer dielectric plate was improved in the range of 20 to 60 degrees for TE incidence.
