Study on Rural Cultural and Entertainment Informatization Status in China

In recent years, with the rapid development of rural informatization, rural culture and entertainment informatization will also be gradually developed. The digital resource of 'National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project' has reached 105.28TB, an accumulative total of 890 million people who got services. 'E-home' is the primary public information service place in rural areas, its number had reached 824; China has more than 250 rural digital cinemas, nearly 40,000 digital cinema projection equipments in rural areas. The entertainment functions of internet is the main purpose of internet users in the rural areas, the pervaded speed of online games grows faster, it is 1.3 percentage points higher than the town.
