摘要
The interest of the sociology of sport for the situation of women has been expanding in the last decades in our country. The inclusion of the gender perspective in social studies has allowed not only better understanding of the sporting reality, but also revealing current injustices. Thus, scientific development in the sociology of sport has led to a great variety of themes from a gender perspective. In particular, eight main topics of analysis have been opened and developed: Media; Socio educative; Socio historic; Orientation and gender identity; Body and sport; Sports practice; Social psychology; and Sport management. These topics are not the only ones, but they form an important and current reality of research in the sociology of sport in Spain. Besides this themes must be improved with new approaches already in use abroad and new methodologies.
