摘要
In genomics research aimed at understanding the molecular basis of disease, scientists often associate variation of DNA nucleotide sequence information with pathologic states. More recently, epigenetic changes to DNA, those modifications to DNA that do not impact the order of the four bases in the genetic code, have been attracting the attention of a greater number of researchers.
