摘要
In the present article the psychometric results of the Self-Concept Questionnaire for Children (SKF, Engel, 2015) are described and discussed in comparison with similar instruments. A total of 520 children aged 4 - 6 years were interviewed in kindergarten using the SKF. Confirmatory factor analyses verified the three-dimensional structure of the instrument (self-concept of ability, social and physical self-concept). The comparison of the children's self-reports with the inferred self-concept of parents and kindergarten teachers showed only small correlation coefficients between the three groups. It is therefore important to know and to assess the perspective of the children. The SKF is a practicable and age-appropriate instrument for that purpose.
