摘要：

Older adults want to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. However, this goal may present a number of risks as a result of failing physical and cognitive health. In response, older adults must often be removed from their own homes and placed in a long-term care facility. The goal of this project is to develop a health monitoring system that applies the principles of pervasive computing and artificial intelligence in order to track an older adult's level of functioning over time, and provide assistance as appropriate.
