摘要
Noise is the most important target characteristic of underwater vehicle such as torpedo and submarine. It is the great significance for noise control to compute structural sound radiation power quickly and accurately. For the structure in heavy medium, sound-structure interaction and singularity of sound field make the traditional FEM/BEM methods limited in terms of efficiency and accuracy. Based on wave superposition principle to arrange the virtual source to discrete sound field, meanwhile combining with the interface compatibility condition to determine the corresponding intensity of the virtual source, a fast and efficient virtual source simulation method is presented to calculate structural sound radiation power. Without computing structural surface velocity, the paper gives an example of a rectangular baffled plate with simply supported boundary using this method to calculate its sound radiation power. Through comparing the computation result with the analytic result, it is shown that the mention method can ensure high precision and improve the efficiency.
