The Amazonian painter Rember Yahuarcani recounts his experience of spending the first months of the pandemic in Pebas, working in his parent's garden, and shows the paintings and pictures he made during 2020. His testimony brings us closer to his family daily life and to the detailed observation of the luminosity, colours and shapes of the Amazonian beings that feed his creativity as a visual artist. Combining word and image, he expresses his firm criticism of social abandonment and relentless environmental destruction.
