On the robustness properties of H∞ integrated flight and propulsion controllers for a large transport aircraft

摘要
In this paper we consider the robust performance properties of some integated flight and propulsion controllers for a large transport aircraft, designed using three different H-infinity methods. The controller design methods compared are H-infinity loop shaping, two-block mixed-sensitivity and four-block mixed-sensitivity. The study provides an interesting practical illustration of the consequences of pole-zero cancellations in certain H-infinity control designs.
