The experimental study of mitigation of gas explosion by water sprays

摘要
The experimental system is developed to study the mitigation of gas explosions by water sprays including the flame propagation tube, the system of water sprays, spark device, the photodiodes of measuring the flame velocity, the high-speed photograph and the control system. And this experimental system is valuable to study the basic characteristic of the effect of water sprays with the propagation flame under different water sprays conditions. From the result it is clear that certain flux density water sprays are effective to mitigate the explosion flame.
