摘要
With the increase in the number of road users in vehicular networks, it is necessary to guarantee efficient and reliable transmissions, whether it is in urban scenarios or highway ones that offer a major challenge in terms of routing because of the high vehicle speed. In this paper, we propose a routing protocol for highway scenarios based on the stability of communication links. Our protocol selects the most stable and durable routes using vehicle speed and the distance between two vehicles forming a communication link, and exploiting vehicle behavior on highways. The results of our simulations show that our contribution offers better performances compared to GPSR and PDGR routing protocols, in terms of throughput, Packet Loss Rate and link break ratio.
