22.4-Gb/s OFDM Transmission over 1000 km SSMF using Polarization Multiplexing with Direct Detection

摘要
In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate 22.4-Gb/s optical OFDM transmission over 1000km SSMF with polarization multiplexing (POLM-UX) and direct detection. To the best of our knowledge, this is the longest reach directly-detected POLMUX-OFDM experiment reported. (C) 2008 Optical Society of America
