Writing for journals in library and information science: A report of a survey

摘要：
In order to gather information for an authors' guide to submitting manuscripts for publication in the field of library and information science, a thirty-six item questionnaire was sent to the 231 editors of journals indexed in Library Literature, published by H. W. Wilson. Replies were received from 119. For an additional 39 titles, information was derived from the journals' ''Instructions to Authors.'' This report summarizes the results from the questionnaire and offers some insight into the scholarly publication process.
