摘要
WiMAX, as a key standard in last-mile access, is expected to support QoS guarantees for multi-services. Developing adaptive bit and power allocation according to quality of service (QoS) requirements is important to different services. In this paper, an adaptive multi-service bit and power allocation based on game theory is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) WiMAX networks. Considering QoS abilities that each sub-channel could support, the allocation is described as non-cooperation games between sub-channels. Meanwhile, the optimal power is derived. The limitation of traditional approach and its discreteness are improved. Simulation results indicate that the multi-service adaptive bit and power allocation makes WiMAX networks support more users of multi-service on the basis of meeting QoS.
