DWDM transmission of thirty two 10Gbit/s channels through 160km link using semiconductor optical amplifiers

摘要
A 160km DWDM link with 320Gbit/s (32 x 10Gbit/s) capacity and 50GHz channel spacing is demonstrated using four in-line semiconductor optical amplifiers. The link performance with and without a saturating reservoir channel does not vary significantly.
