摘要
Remnant cystic duct carcinoma is a rare condition; only 16 cases are reported in the literature. We report a case of a 74-year-old male patient diagnosed with remnant cystic duct carcinoma 7 years after having undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Onset symptoms were jaundice and cholangitis, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and abdomen-thorax computed tomography scan scan were performed. The patient underwent pancreatoduodenectomy with regional lymphadenectomy. Definitive histological inspection showed in situ/minimally invasive endoluminal papillary carcinoma, without lymph-node metastases pTis/pT1 N0 (0/17) M0. All cases described on Pubmed and Medline archive, based on remnant cystic duct cancer and cystic duct cancer after cholecystectomy keywords, are reported.
