Indirect Spectrophotometric Determination of Thiocyanate by the Ion-Starch Reaction

摘要：
We have proposed a technique for indirect determination of thiocyanate including its oxidation by iodate in the sulfate medium followed by photometric detection of an unreacted oxidant after addition to the reaction mixture of a surplus of iodide and starch. The detection limit constitutes 0.15 mu g of thiocyanate in 10 cm(3) of the solution.
