摘要
Developed technique for assessment of existing buildings is based on the use of Bayesian causal network to model causal links between essential requirements and cumulative requirements imposed on building performance. Input data include expert judgement concerning the present degree of satisfaction of the six essential requirements specified in EU documents (mechanical resistance, safety in case of fire, hygiene, safety in use, protection against noise, and energy economy) and other relevant requirements. The Bayesian network supplemented with decision and utility nodes make it possible to estimate the total expected utility within expected residual lifetime taking into account the cost of intended action. Illustrative numerical data indicates that the proposed technique provides a rational background for a decision concerning adequate action to improve present conditions.
