摘要
To overcoming the sintering phenomena of the calcium oxide occurring during the CO2 capture in our study we propose the use of CaO supported on gamma-alumina or to promote the CaO with lanthanum. CaO based synthetic sorbent have been prepared by impregnation technique using a gamma-alumina with high mechanical resistance for fluidized bed application. Their CO2 adsorption capacity has been compared to that of calcined Massicci limestone. Interesting uptake performances and good stability have been obtained even if in a temperature range of CO2 capture not interesting for application in gasification process. The lowest CO2 adsorption capacity has been observed for the CaO lanthanum promoted system.
