摘要：
This paper applies the Econometrics methods such as Cointegration Test, Error Correction model (ECM) and Granger-Causality Test to examine the underlying relationship between GDP and Fixed assets investment in China. The data covers the yearly period from 1978 to 2007. The empirical result shows that investment in fixed assets has strong pulling effect on economic growth. And there also exists bidirectional causality and long-run steady relationship between investment in fixed assets and economic growth in China.
