An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between the Fixed Assets Investment and the Employment in China

Under the circumstances of the financial crisis that rarely occurs once in every 100 years, labor employment in China is facing a huge challenge. Based on researching into the historical data and by employing some elastic analytic and multi-dimensional statistical analytic approaches, the authors analyze the influences of the gross investment and the three times industrial investments on China's employment and find out that there is some correlation between the fixed assets investment and the full employment in china. Also a logarithmic correspondence can be seen between the increase of the fixed assets investment and that of the labor employment. The fixed assets investment has a positive effect on the employment in the first industry while it invites a negative effect on the employment in the second and the third industry. On the basis of the above viewpoints, the authors put forward some related policy proposals in the last part of the treatise.
