摘要
FMCW Radar today finds various applications and with growing technology, the requirement of low-cost and lowbudget implementation has risen. Such applications require a compact hardware design and fast, precise functioning. In aircraft, FMCW radars are used as an altimeter for computing height. In this paper, we have designed a customized signal processing card using the STM32L432KCU ARM cortex M4 controller. The use of the cortex M4 controller for DSP application has been discussed in this paper. The card functionality is tested with an X-band RF Module and checked with hardware and loop testing using co-axial cables with small electrical lengths. The results obtained during the experiment are up to the mark and are presented in this paper.
