摘要
A QAM-capable 300GHz CMOS transmitter operating above f(max) was recently reported. A key component is a cubic mixer, which is a tripler-based up-conversion mixer. This paper studies the SNR characteristics of cubic mixer theoretically for realizing high-speed communication. The condition of avoiding the interference between the RF signal and spur component is clarified.
