摘要：
The Japanese animation "Hataraku Saibou" uses ludic strategies, such as cells' personification, to explain some of the human body physiological processes. One specific episode addresses the role of erythrocytes in gas transport, making this animation an important educational resource in the study of hemoglobin and the biochemical reactions of hematosis. In biochemistry teaching, the subject "hemoglobin and oxygen transport" stimulates the discussion on protein structure applied to a specific protein and emphasizes the strong relationship between structure and protein function, associating the function of hemoglobin with hematosis physiological concepts. The present work reports the use of the animation "Hataraku Saibou" as a pedagogical resource in a theoretical class for teaching Biochemistry remotely.
