摘要
Hair analysis has gained importance in the chronic monitoring of environmental or occupational exposure to pesticides. There are no studies on hair pesticide analysis while pesticide is being investigated in many biological samples such as blood, urine, adipose tissue and breast milk in Cukurova Region. In our study, pesticide was analyzed in hair samples of 21 workers working in the field and who are exposed to pesticides. 17 different pesticides were detected in 21 hair samples collected. The most frequently detected pesticides were acetamiprid, hexythiazox and epoxiconazole. The highest concentration was found for acetamiprid (3904 pg/mg). These results have shown that farmers living in the Cukurova Region are exposed to pesticides and use a very limited number of protective equipment.
